Carmen is an eye catching mare with enormous presence, all the bling you could ask for and movement as fancy as her looks.
Carmen's sire Cabardino needs no introduction. Cabardino was the USEF leading hunter sire in 2017 and 2018 and has been in the USEF top five leading hunter sires since 2019. Cabardino is a spectacular 4’ hunter who combines scope, technique, temperament, beauty and movement in one complete package. He is known to produce beautiful, very flashy and refined foals with excellent movement and incredible technique over jumps. Cabardino’s temperament is second to none, and his scope and technique over jumps are simply extraordinary. He has won many hack classes. Cabardino has produced several premium and champion foals and His offspring have won hunter breeding championships at Devon, Warrenton and Upperville. His offspring have been circuit champions including at WEF and HITS Ocala and have won top hunter derbies. Cabardino is the sire of countless A circuit champions and reserve champions in the U.S. and Canada. Cabardino produces tall, athletic foals with incredible technique over jumps and excellent movement.
Carmen's dam, Bonne Chance, also produced several successful hunters in her career as a broodmare. She was known for passing on size, temperament and her beautiful movement.
Carmen had an under saddle career prior to becoming a broodmare but due to owner life circumstances had very limited show miles. She also spent some time in a lesson program teaching kids. We are excited to have her here to continue her broodmare career and anticipate some very lovely, blingy foals from her!
Carmen is registered Oldenburg ISR and approved for breeding with the German Oldenburg Verband.
Carmen is currently in for to Apiro for a May 2025 foal that will be available.
