Ari's Offspring

Bandari NHF

"Ari"

Ari is a young mare out of of our foundation mare Romancing Rio. Like her dam, Ari is a beautiful mover and is the kindest horse you will ever meet. She is very intelligent, QUIET, and simply wants to please all people.

Due to a freak pasture accident, we never put this filly up for sale and although she is sound and has been stared under saddle, we are thrilled to have retained her to fill her dam's very large shoes in our breeding program.

Ari's first foal, a filly by WT Leapfrog, is a lovely mover and also incredibly kind and quiet. We expect these qualities in all of Ari's foals.

Ari's sire, Banderas, was the first approved son of the sensational European stallion Balou du Rouet, to stand in North America.  Banderas is a very typey athletic stallion, with a lovely expression, clearly stamped in looks by his sire. Banderas has three very good athletic gaits, and shows a huge amount of jumping potential, he jumps in classic form, and show a lot of scope.
Grandsire Balou du Rouet is highly sought after as a breeding stallion, he is very known for producing type, elastic movers, and his offspring are showing his prepotency for first class jumping ability.
Banderas comes from a very strong dam line. His dam sire is the legendary Grannus, one Germany's greatest sires with over five million DM in earnings. Grannus is also the sire of over 60 approved stallions.
Great Grand sire is the Elite international stallion Beach Boy. He has sired 8 graded sons who are already making a name for themselves and his own progeny includes the 1991 Oldenburg performance test champion Brandenburger, the international showjumper Beach Game and the international eventers Beach Star and Feldschwalbe.

Banderas is a consistent producer of premium foals in all registries, and has sired winners in all disciplines from Hunter, Hunter Derbies, Eventing to CCI3*, and Jumpers 1.60,

Ari's  Damsire, Rio Grande, is a noted hunter producer. He has many offspring winning on the A circuit and he himself was a successful Grand Prix jumper (ridden by Eric Lamaze). He was also winner of his stallion performance test and is consistently one of USEF's top 10 leading hunter sires. Also found on Ari's damside you will find Duerkheim- another sire that can be found in many winning hunters.

Ari is homozygous for both black and Agouti so she will always produce bay foals (unless bred to a grey or dilute stallion where other genes come into play).

Ari is registered Oldenburg (GOV)

She is approved for breeding with Oldenburg (GOV) and was awarded Premium mare at her inspection.

Ari is in foal to Diacontinus for 2024
